Peter Nixon has been specialising in photographing horses for over 25 years, taking photos of many aspects of Equestrianism. From Eventing to Carriage Driving, Showing to Polo his work encapsulates the technical artistry of Equestrianism at all levels from pre-novice to Olympic games.


Peter's work has appeared in; Horse and Hound, Eventing, Horse, British Eventing, Chronicle of the Horse, British Dressage Magazine, New Zealand Horse & Pony and other leading publications at home and abroad. He has also work for other clients such as David & Charles, Federation Equestre Internationale, L’Annee Hippique, The Pony Club, LV, Royal Windsor Horse Show, via his friend and mentor Kit Houghton.

Since 2013, Peter has been Horse and Hound's retained photographer and has covered every major equestrian event during that time; including Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships and other major events in the UK and Europe.
