Peter Nixon has photographed horses for over 25 years. Since 2013 he has been Horse & Hound's main freelance photographer, covering every discipline and shooting features for the magazine. From eventing to carriage driving and showing to polo, his work captures the skill and partnership of equestrian sport at every level.
Winner of the 2026 Silver Camera for the best international equestrian sports photo of the year.
